AttestEd independently verifies the claims students make on their college applications. Our mission is to bring integrity back to the center of admissions: not by asking anyone to be virtuous, but by making honesty the best response.
Students submit each activity with evidence. We verify claim by claim and attach an evidence tier to each. The report travels with the application, and the student controls it.
“Founded a nonprofit that tutored 500 low-income students.”
EvidenceRegistered organization: confirmed. Founder role: confirmed. Records support 180 students. No independent source for the 500 figure.
Tier Partially verifiedFive tiers, applied per claim. There is no composite score of any kind: the unit of analysis is the claim, never the student. “Unverified” is a statement about evidence, not truth, which protects informal, poorly documented, but real work.
Your precise, true record stops losing to inflated ones. International applicants, whose achievements are hardest for offices to check, gain the most.
Verification takes the arms race out of the counselor's office and lets recommendations describe students rather than defend claims.
Committees keep the judgment. We supply consistent, claim-level evidence tiers, applied identically across every applicant who submits.
The student portal is open today: create your account, add your activities and evidence, and everything saves as you go. Submission for review begins October 24, 2026, and your preparation carries straight into it. Reports are returned within 48 hours of submission, so plan to submit at least 48 hours before your earliest application deadline. An expedited review, returned in under 8 hours, is available on request. The methodology was built with former admissions officers and is published in full.
