For Parents

Credibility for the record your child actually earned

Transcripts and test scores arrive at colleges certified. The activities and honors that increasingly decide admissions arrive on trust alone, which quietly rewards the applicants willing to exaggerate. AttestEd verifies your child's claims, one by one, so their true record carries the weight it deserves.

In brief

What we do, in one minute

Your child submits each activity with evidence. Trained reviewers verify every claim against a published methodology and attach an evidence tier to each one: Verified, Substantiated, Partially verified, Unverified, or Attested. The report comes back within 48 hours of submission, your child sees it first, and nothing goes anywhere without their say.

Why it helps

Honest records stop losing

Admissions offices cannot check claims at scale, so they quietly discount everything. A verified claim does not get discounted. Precision becomes an advantage instead of a handicap.

What it costs

One fee, one report

A single fee covers the full activities and honors list; see pricing. Families applying for full financial aid receive discounts up to a complete waiver, attested by the school counselor. If a report is ever late, it is free.

What it never does

No scores, no judgment

There is no composite rating of your child and never will be. Tiers describe evidence for individual claims. "Unverified" means undocumented, not untrue, which protects real work that produced no paperwork.

Sending the report

How the report reaches colleges

Unlike test scores, nothing is transmitted on your child's behalf. The report travels inside the application itself, under your child's control at every step.

Your child's data

Stricter than we have to be

Most of our users are minors, which obliges us to go beyond the usual. If your child is under 18, verification does not begin until a parent or guardian co-signs. We collect only what is typed or attached, contact only the organizations your child lists, never sell or share data, and delete everything on request. The full policy is written to be read: privacy policy.
